[leucine-rich repeats and immunoglobulin-like domains 1; leucine-rich immunoglobulin-like repeats-1] abbr. also: LIG1. The human gene encoding this transmembrane glycoprotein has been cloned by Nilsson et al (2001) who suggested that it might function as a growth and tumor suppressor.
