IL6R-SUP

[IL6 receptor soluble urinary protein] A urinary protein isolated by affinity chromatography of crude human urinary proteins on recombinant IL6 columns (see also: Recombinant cytokines). This protein is identical with as a truncated 50 kDa soluble form of the 80 kDa IL6 cellular receptor.

IL6-R-SUP enhances the growth stimulation of mouse plasmacytoma T1165 by suboptimal concentrations of human recombinant IL6. The growth-inhibitory effect of IL6 on human breast carcinoma cells is enhanced by addition of IL6-R-SUP although these cells possess abundant IL6 ... ... ... ...
