This targeting peptide, FYPSYHSTPQRP, has been identified by phage display library screening. It acts as a cell-targeting peptide and binds to dendritic cells. The peptide binds to monocyte-derived dendritic cells from rhesus macaque or chimpanzee without modulating the phenotype of these cells. It does not to their T-cells, B-cells, or monocytes.
