This peptide, Cys-Lys-Ala-Ala-Lys-Asn-Lys, has been identified in a screen of phage display libraries for peptides that home in to the vasculature in the angiogenic stages of a mouse model of pancreatic islet carcinogenesis (Joyce et al, 2003).
