[zebrafish ovarian TNF receptor] abbr. zOTR. Ovarian TNFR is a zebrafish (Danio rerio) receptor with a death domain that is highly expressed in the fish ovary (Bobe and Goetz, 2001).

Eimon et al (2006) have reported that ectopic expression of zebrafish homologs of TRAIL (zDL1a [zebrafish death ligand 1a], zDL1b [zebrafish death ligand 1b], and zDL2 [zebrafish death ligand 2]) (see: Eimon et al, 2006) triggers cell death by apoptosis in specific embryonic tissues through ovarian TNFR (and also through ... ... ... ... ...
