neuropeptide AF

abbr. NPAF. [AGEGLSSPFWSLAAPQRFamide] In older publications this peptide is being referred to also as A18Famide. Villim et al (1999) have reported that this peptide is encoded by the precursor of the neuropeptide FF gene. The peptide has been identified by Burlet-Schiltz et al (2002) in human cerebrospinal fluid.
