gamma chain-common cytokine family

Also: common gamma family, common gamma-chain cytokines. This family of growth factors is characterized by utilization of a shared receptor signaling subunit, common gamma (CD132). The family comprises IL4, IL7, IL9, IL15, IL21, and possibly other cytokines (e.g., CCDC134 [coiled-coil domain containing 134]), and its members are sometimes called common gamma-chain cytokines or gammac cytokines (for overview see also: Walsh, 2012).
