estrogen receptor factor 1 |
estrogen-regulated protein 24K |
protein disulfide isomerase family A member 18 |
||
This protein has been identified by means of monoclonal antibodies raised against cytoplasmic estrogen receptor fragment in extracts of breast tumors, fibroid, myometrial, and endometrial preparations (Coffer et al, 1985). The protein has been identified as the ER-D5 antigen found in various types of cancers (Ciocca and Luque, 1991). It is identical with estrogen-regulated protein 24K (Mendelsohn et al, 1991).
This protein is identical with a 29 kDa protein rapidly phosphorylated following exposure of intact human platelets to thrombin (Mendelsohn et al, 1991). The protein is one of the phosphorylated forms of hsp27 (Mendelsohn et al, 1991).
