[C-type-lectin-67] This Caenorhabditis elegans protein is thought to have a function in innate immunity, its expression consistently being upregulated in response to infection with Salmonella enterica. The expression of clec-67 is regulated by elt-2 (Kerry et al, 2006). Troemel et al (2006) have reported that clec-67 expression is upregulated in response to Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection.
