casein-beta(24-38)
beta-casein(24-38); also: Casein 24. This bioactive fragment of casein-beta with the sequence NQELLLNPTHQIYPV has been identified in human colostrum. The peptide is an antimicrobial peptide that shows antimicrobial activities against Escherichia coli, Yersinia enterocolitica, and Staphylococcus aureus (Cui et al, 2016).
