Also: lactalbumin-alpha(99-108). This short peptide, VGINYWLAHK, is obtained from bovine alpha-lactoglobulin by proteolytic digestion with trypsin. The peptide has been shown to act as an inhibitor of angiotensin-1 converting enzyme (CD143) (Pihlanto-Leppälä et al, 2000).
