Tomoregulin-1

abbr. TR-1. The murine gene (designated M7365) encoding this protein has been cloned by Eib et al (2000). Expression appears to be restricted to descrete regions of the brain during development. The murine gene is the ortholog of Xenopus laevis X7365. The human gene (designation also: H7365) is known as TMEFF1 [transmembrane protein with EGF-like and 2 follistatin-like domains 1] and is related to Tomoregulin. In databanks, the open reading frame encoding tomoregulin-1 is also being referred to as C9orf2 [ ... ... ... ... ... Subscribe to continue reading! ... ...
