[tumor-inducible erythroblast-like cells] These cells have been described by Han et al (2018). They are derived from megakaryocyte erythroid progenitor cells and express the erythrocyte common marker TER-119 and the markers of erythroid cell precursors, CD71 and CD44 (see also: erythroblasts). The cells also express CD41, a marker of the megakaryocytic lineage, Ter-cells do not express CD45, which is a marker for non-leukocyte cells
