[Tc2 cell]
These cells, also: T cytotoxic 2 cells, constitute a subpopulation of CD8(+) cytotoxic T-cells. They are characterized by a specific pattern of secreted factors. Like Th2 cells, Tc2 cells secrete IL4 but don't produce IFN-gamma, which distinguishes them from another subpopulation, Tc1 cells (Vukmanovic-Stejic et al, 2000).
