T88
a murine early B-lineage cell line. The cells are B220(+), Ly1(+), express IL2 receptor and are negative for sIgM, Ia, Thy1. The cells respond to IL3 and IL5 in the presence of the stromal cell line ST2. T88 cells can proliferate only in response to IL5 in the absence of ST2 (Tominaga et al, 1989).
A subline of T88 is T88-M.
