This T-cell line has been derived from the peripheral blood lymphocytes of a patient with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. The cells proliferate highly in response to IL7, and exogenous IL7 prevents Pno lymphocytes to undergo cell death by apoptosis. The cell express high levels of BCL2. The cells also express functional CD2 CD3, and CD28. The cells have the phenotype of Th3 cells and produce high amounts of TGF-beta-1.
