NIL-3

[negative regulator of IL3] This murine inhibitor of IL3 (NIL-3) is produced from murine bone marrow cells in response to excess stimulation of IL3 (Yasuhiro et al, 2002). Mice of C3H/HeN, A/J and ICR strains produce NIL-3. C57BL/6 mice do not produce NIL-3 (Sugimoto et al, 1997). The factor has been purified from the conditioned medium of bone marrow cell cultures. It is identical with Apolipoprotein H.
