name given to a family of engineered dual IL3 and G-CSF receptor agonists linked head-to-tail at their respective carboxy and amino termini (McWherter et al, 1999; Hood et al, 2001). One of the variants is myelopoietin-1. The chimaeric proteins efficiently bind to IL3 and G-CSF receptors and are potent stimulator of hematopoietic proliferation and differentiation (see: Leridistim).
