Leukemic cell growth-promoting factor

abbr. LGF (a term with multiple meanings). This biochemically uncharacterized factor of 18 kDa is produced by murine and human fibroblasts upon treatment with TGF-beta. The factor supports the growth of leukemic cells (Komatsu et al, 1993).
