HCB1-SV40
This human umbilical cord derived cell line has been established by retroviral transduction with the temperature-sensitive SV40 large T antigen (De Angeli et al, 2004). It is a stromal cell line that expresses cytokeratins and stromal markers, EGF, FGF, adrenomedullin, IL1-beta, IL6, GM-CSF, G-CSF, and SCF. The conditioned medium of these cells contains variable amounts of IL1-beta, IL6 and GM-CSF. The conditioned medium obtained from these cells supports the clonal growth of cord blood
