This is the designation for a glycoprotein of approximately 110 kDa located in the bile canalicular domain of the plasma membrane of hepatocytes. The protein is identical with another protein, termed pp120 (also: pp120/HA4) (Margolis et al, 1988) and has been identified independently also as gp110 and CBATP [canalicular bile acid transport protein].
