GPCMV-MIP

[guinea pig cytomegalovirus macrophage inflammatory protein] This protein of 101 amino acids is encoded by an open reading frame of guinea pig cytomegalovirus. The protein shows sequence homology with various members of the macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP) family of chemokines. The protein has been shown to interact with human CCR1 receptor and to induce chemotaxis.
