Flexi 12
A single chain protein, which retains all of the biological characteristics of the dimeric recombinant IL12 (see also: Muteins) (Anderson et al, 1997).
Flexi 12 induces the proliferation of phytohemagglutinin (PHA) blasts, induce PHA blasts to secrete IFN-gamma, and enhances the killing of K562 target cells by peripheral blood lymphocytes. Flexi 12 also induces tyrosine phosphorylation of one of the STAT proteins, the STAT4 transcription factor, which has been shown to be unique to the IL12 signaling pathway.
