[coagulation factor XIIa] abbr. FXIIa. Blood coagulation factor XIIa has been shown to be homologous to a serum serine protease that activates single-chain HGF (HGF activator; HGFA). Factor XIIa also exhibits a significant level of HGF-converting activity.
