Endophilin B2

The approved gene symbol for this protein is SH3GLB2 [SH3 domain-containing GRB2-like protein B2]. The gene has been cloned as one of several related genes by Pierrat et al (2001). The cDNA encoding this protein has been identified independently as KIAA1848 (Nagase et al, 2001). Like other members of the family of endophilins, the protein contains a BAR domain and an SH3 domain.
