EEK

[EPH and ELK-related kinase] This tyrosine kinase is most similar to 2 putative receptor protein tyrosine kinases, ELK and EPH, showing 69 and 57 % identity, respectively. The EEK gene maps to human chromosome 1 (Chan and Watt, 1991). The receptor is identical with EphA8 (see: ephrins).
