Duffy antigen-erythrocyte chemokine receptor

abbr. DFA-ECKR. This designation has been used in publications to refer to DARC [Duffy Antigen Receptor for Chemokines]. Chaudhuri et al (1994) have shown that the Duffy antigen and ECKR are identical.

In the nomenclature of CD antigens this protein has been given the designation CD234.
