cytokine response gene 8 |
Cytokine response modifier A |
TLL |
||
Collective term for eight genes identified by Beadling et al (1993) as one of the immediate-early response genes expressed in T-lymphocytes after stimulation with IL2. The induction of seven of the genes is specific to the IL2 mediated G1 "progression" phase of the cell cycle, in that only one gene is also induced during the T-cell receptor-triggered G0-G1 "competence" phase.
These genes are different from Cytokine responsive genes the expression of which is enhanced after treatment of murine RAW264.7 cells (derived from macrophages) with IFN-gamma or the conditioned medium of a mitogen-stimulated spleen cell culture.
