COPEAlert

COPEAlert provides an overview of new entries incorporated into the text body of the latest release of COPE. Entries below were added between December 2008 and August 2009. For previous additions see: COPE version history. If you miss something or if you spot errors or broken links please contact me.

In addition to new entries this version also contains updates and corrections for older COPE entries. Newly added alternative designations or synonyms for factors already contained in previous versions of COPE are not listed here.

Expression profile information for a variety of cell types has been updated also extensively in this edition of COPE. Note: in individual cell type entries Red dots () before an entry indicate that usage of the term has been unified across all COPE entries. Synonyms for the head entry term are listed in brackets. Black dot entries () still need to be unified, i.e., the term may occur in one cell type entry under one name and in another cell type entry under another name. Double dots (••) (••) indicate that the entry refers to receptors for a given factor rather than the factor itself. Receptor expression is inferred frequently by published bioactivities of a given factor.
