CCN family

The name is derived from the names of the first three identified members of this family, Cyr-61, CTGF, nov (see also: Malik, 2015). Members of this family are:

CTGF (also designated CCN2), which is called fisp-12 in the mouse

cyr-61 (also designated CCN1),

nov (Nephroblastoma overexpressed gene; also designated CCN3) oncogene (Brigstock et al, 2003).

Other member of this family are
