This peptide with the sequence ATAWDFGPHGLLPIRPIRIRPLCG (Ala-Thr-Ala-Trp-Asp-Phe-Gly-Pro-His-Gly-Leu-Leu-Pro-Ile-Arg-Pro-Ile-Arg-Ile-Arg-Pro-Leu-Cys-Gly) has been identified in the frog skin of Odorrana grahami (Liu H et al, 2014) (for a related peptide see: Ot-WHP [Odorrana tormota wound healing peptide]. AH90 peptide promotes wound healing in a murine model with full thickness dermal wounds. AH90 promotes the release of TGF-beta-1 through activation of NF-kappa-B and c-Jun NH2-terminal kinase mitogen-activated protein kinases signalling pathways.
